Programs/ Part supplier & 3D Part Downloads

Hi everyone,

Performance Trends (Programs)

Bill found this website which has many different kinds of programs for analyzing vehicles (Suspension, engine, transmission, roll center...) if you would like you can download a demo of the programs. If you find any program of use perhaps we can look at getting a copy of it.

Part Suppliers

Over my co-op term I have purchased several parts for simple design projects that I have worked on from Carrlane. On their website you can view their catalogue online and then download a 3D cad version of the part. I was thinking of possibly purchasing a push/pull toggle clamp for our cutting brake from Carrlane. Another supplier would be McMaster Carr they have a huge selection of various parts however you can't download CAD models, but you can view general information on the part.

3D Part Downloads

If you visit www.cadregister.com you can have access to several different parts/products which can be downloaded and used( IE. motors, switches, brushes, belts, sprockets, gears...). Another source is www.3dcontentcentral.com which provides a similar type of service but requires a login which is free.

See you all soon,

Chris Kelly
